This website was created by a collaboration of researchers and parents. We talked to lots of parents about what information they wanted to know when their child had a cough.
Parents told us that the available information didn’t always answer their questions and some was hard to find. They were not always sure which information could be trusted. We put the most up to date (as of January 2016) information and advice on this site to try to solve these problems.
It was put together by Christie Cabral, Jenny Ingram and Patricia Lucas, in collaboration with parents, and with support from our GP colleagues and other researchers working at the University of Bristol on the TARGET research project.
